Concrete pump trucks, a machine designed specifically for conveying concrete, occupy an indispensable position in the construction field with their excellent pumping speed, high degree of automation, convenient operation and excellent maneuverability.
Daily maintenance of concrete pump trucks is the basis for ensuring the smooth operation of the equipment on the day and preventing sudden failures. It must be strictly performed after each construction or before daily work.
1. Core objectives: cleaning + lubrication + key system status confirmation
Time required: about 15-30 minutes (after proficiency in operation)
Use a high-pressure water gun to fully flush the hopper, S-tube, inside of the conveying cylinder, and mixing blades to ensure that there is no concrete residue (focus: S-tube swing area, and the joint surface between the eyeglass plate and the cutting ring).
After disassembling the delivery pipe, flush the inner wall of the pipe and the sealing surface of the pipe mouth.
Machine cleaning:/Nettoyage en machine :
Rinse the mud and concrete blocks off the boom (retracted), outriggers, and chassis.
It is strictly forbidden to spray high-pressure water directly on: electrical control box, sensors, radiators (hydraulic/engine), and gaps in the cab.
Put tools back in place: After cleaning, count and put away small parts such as pipe clamps and sealing rings.
2). Fill key lubrication points (to prevent wear and ensure flexibility)/Remplir les points de lubrification clés (pour prévenir l’usure et assurer la flexibilité)
Use the specified grease and fill it with a grease gun until the new grease squeezes out of the gap (wipe off the old grease):
Boom system: all articulation pins (at each boom joint), sliders/rollers (approximately 15-30 points in total).
Outrigger system: outrigger pivot, telescopic cylinder hinge points (approximately 8-12 points for 4 outriggers).
Pumping system: stirring bearing seat, S-tube swing shaft, main cylinder support ball head.
Lubrication standard: It is better to have more rather than less, but avoid excessive contamination of the sensor.
3). Quick check of hydraulic system/Vérification rapide du système hydraulique
Oil level check:/Contrôle du niveau d’huile :
Check the hydraulic oil tank oil window/dipstick 10 minutes after shutdown to ensure that the fluid level is between the scale lines (refer to the manual for hot and cold vehicle conditions).
Oil quality visual inspection:
It is normal for the oil to be transparent or light yellow. If it appears milky white (water ingress), turbid (pollution), dark black (oxidation) or has a pungent burnt smell, it must be reported immediately.
Leak Check:/Vérification des fuites :
Walk around the equipment and quickly visually check the cylinders, valve blocks, joints, and hoses for oil leakage, oil dripping, or bulging.
4). Basic inspection of engine compartment/Inspection de base du compartiment moteur
Three oil checks (flame-out state):/Trois contrôles d’huile (état d’extinction) :
Engine oil: The dipstick level is between the upper and lower limits.
Coolant: The liquid level in the auxiliary water tank is in the “MIN-MAX” range.
Diesel: The fuel gauge shows sufficient fuel and the fuel tank cap is well sealed.
Air filter:/Filtre à air:
Tap the filter housing to shake off dust and observe the filter clogging indicator (if it turns red, replace it).
Leakage check: Check for new oil or water stains on the ground.
5). Inspection of delivery pipes and fittings/Inspection des conduites et raccords de distribution
Pipeline Status:/État du pipeline :
Quickly tap the easily worn part of the bent pipe (judge the wall thickness by listening to the sound) and check for cracks, deformation, rust and perforation.
Sealing reliability:/Fiabilité de l’étanchéité :
Make sure that the pipe clamp bolts are not loose and the sealing ring is not damaged or aged (to prevent spraying).
6). Safety and electrical function testing/Tests de sécurité et de fonctionnement électrique
Cab operation:/Fonctionnement de la cabine :
After starting, check that there are no warning lights on the dashboard and test the horn, wipers, and headlights.
Remote control (if any):/Télécommande (le cas échéant) :
The emergency stop button is reset, the signal connection is normal, and the power is sufficient.
Drain the gas tank: Open the bottom valve to drain all the condensed water (to prevent valve parts from rusting).
7). Recording and Handover/Enregistrement et transfert
Fill out the “Daily Maintenance Inspection Form” and record abnormal items (such as “abnormal noise at the left outrigger hinge point” and “drop in hydraulic oil level”).
Report problems to next shift operator or maintenance supervisor.
3. Fatal negligence points (must be avoided!)/Points de négligence fatale (à éviter absolument !)
The S-tube was not cleaned and the concrete remained. It solidified and got stuck the next day and needed to be disassembled and repaired.
Missing the lubrication point of the boom → Dry grinding of the sleeve causes the boom to jam or the pin to break.
Hydraulic oil emulsification is not found → Water enters the pump valve, and the precision parts are rusted and scrapped.
Cracks in the delivery pipe were not detected → The pipe burst during high-pressure pumping and injured people.
Summarize:/Résumer:
Daily maintenance tips:
“First wash, then lubricate, and then check for leaks. The oil, water, and electricity pipes must not leak. Records of handover responsibilities are clear. Safety, efficiency, and long service life.”
Strictly implementing the maintenance plan is the best investment in equipment. It can significantly reduce unexpected failures, ensure construction safety and progress, maximize the service life of the equipment, and ultimately save you a lot of maintenance costs and downtime losses. Develop good maintenance habits to keep your pump truck in a “healthy” state at all times!
Conseils d’entretien quotidien :
