(4) Dredging and drainage method
If the injector needle valve of a certain cylinder of the diesel engine “burns out”, it will cause the diesel engine to “miss a cylinder” or have poor atomization, produce knocking sounds and emit black smoke, causing the diesel engine to malfunction. At this time, the “drainage and dredging” method can be used for emergency repairs, that is, remove the injector of the faulty cylinder, remove the injector nozzle, pull out the needle valve from the needle valve body, remove the carbon deposits, clear the nozzle hole, and then reinstall it. . After the above treatment, most of the faults can be eliminated; if it still cannot be eliminated, the high-pressure oil pipe of the injector of the cylinder can be removed, connected with a plastic pipe, and the oil supply of the cylinder can be led back to the fuel tank, and the diesel engine can be used for emergency use.

(5) Oil replenishment and concentration method
If the plunger parts of the diesel engine injection pump are worn, the amount of diesel leakage will increase, and the fuel supply will be insufficient when starting, which will make it difficult to start the diesel engine. At this time, the method of “replenishing oil and enriching” can be adopted for emergency repairs. For fuel injection pumps with a start-up enrichment device, place the fuel pump in the enrichment position when starting, and then return the enrichment device to the normal position after startup. For a fuel injection pump without a start-up enrichment device, about 50 to 100 mL of fuel or starting fluid can be injected into the intake pipe to increase the amount of oil entering the cylinder and make up for the lack of fuel supply from the oil pump, and the diesel engine can be started.

(6) Preheating and heating method
Under high and cold conditions, the diesel engine is difficult to start due to insufficient battery power. At this time, do not blindly start again, otherwise the battery loss will be aggravated and the diesel engine will be more difficult to start. The following methods can be used to assist starting: when there is a preheating device on the diesel engine, use the preheating device to preheat first, and then use the starter to start; if there is no preheating device on the diesel engine, you can first use a blowtorch to bake the intake pipe and crankcase After preheating and warming, use the starter to start. Before baking the intake pipe, about 60 mL of diesel can be injected into the intake pipe so that part of the diesel evaporates into mist after baking to increase the temperature of the mixture. If the above conditions are not met, you can add diesel or low-temperature starting fluid to the intake pipe before starting, then use a cloth dipped in diesel to ignite it and place it at the air inlet of the air filter, and then use the starter to start.

The above emergency repair methods can only be used in emergency situations. Although these methods are not formal maintenance methods and will cause certain damage to the diesel engine, they are feasible and effective in emergency situations as long as they are operated with caution. When the emergency situation is relieved, the performance of the diesel engine should be restored according to the repair specifications and process requirements to maintain it in good technical condition.
