11. When going uphill or downhill, fast gear shall not be used, and neutral gear shall not be used for gliding downhill. When making sharp turns, including when the articulated vibratory roller is rolling in a small turn, fast gear shall not be used.
12. The roller must not engage in vibration when running at high speed.
13. When shutting down, the vibration should be stopped first, then the reversing mechanism should be placed in the middle position, the transmission should be placed in neutral, and finally the handbrake lever should be pulled up. The internal combustion engine should run at idle speed for several minutes and then shut down.
14. After operation, the roller should be parked on a flat and solid place and braked. It must not be parked on the edge of a dirt road or on a slope, nor in a place that obstructs traffic.
15. When shutting down in severe cold seasons, the rollers should be padded off the ground with wooden boards.
16. When the roller is moved to a long distance from the construction site, it should be transported by a car or a flatbed trailer and must not be towed or transported by other vehicles.
