The turbocharger of Shantui equipment is lubricated by the oil at the bottom of the diesel engine, so before using Shantui equipment, you should check whether the oil volume of the diesel oil dipstick is within the specified range, and determine whether it is based on the color of the diesel engine oil. To change the oil, the engine oil and oil filter element designated by Shantui should be replaced regularly.
2. When you use Shantui equipment daily, you should always pay attention to the color of the air filter indicator. If the air filter indicator shows red, it indicates that the air filter is blocked. You should clean up or replace the filter element in time. If the air filter is clogged, the negative pressure of the engine’s intake air will be too high, causing the turbocharger bearing to leak oil.
3. When using Shantui equipment, pay attention to check whether there is any air leakage in the engine’s intake and exhaust pipes. If the turbocharger intake line leaks, it will cause a large amount of compressed air to leak and reduce the supercharging effect. If the exhaust line of the turbocharger leaks, it will reduce the power of the engine, and it may also burn the turbocharger bearings.
4. After using the Shantui equipment, you should be careful not to turn off the diesel engine immediately, and keep it running at idle for a few minutes, so that the temperature and speed of the turbocharger will gradually drop, and prevent the engine oil from stopping lubrication and burning due to a sudden shutdown. 5. For Shantui equipment that has been out of service for a long time, when starting the equipment, the lubrication pipeline on the upper part of the turbocharger should be removed, and a little lubricating oil should be added to the bearing.
