For oil products, the addition of diesel with high sulfur content will affect the DPF. Unqualified diesel will also cause irreversible permanent damage such as DOC catalyst poisoning failure, DPF filter clogging failure, and SCR catalyst poisoning failure. This leads to limited torque and speed, and no regeneration. In serious cases, the entire post-processing system needs to be replaced.
For urea, the aqueous urea solution must meet GB29518 or the equivalent 32.5% aqueous urea solution for vehicles. Unqualified urea water solution will cause urea tanks, urea pumps, pipelines, nozzles and other components to crystallize and damage, and failures such as low exhaust gas treatment efficiency will affect the normal use of vehicles, and will even be monitored and warned by environmental monitoring departments.
2. Pay attention to the maintenance of DPF device
Diesel will produce ash particles when it is fully burned. Therefore, under normal use of the vehicle, ash particles will accumulate in the DPF and gradually block the DPF. Therefore, timely maintenance of the DPF device should be carried out.
3. Pay attention to the quality of lubricating oil
China VI vehicles cannot use low-grade lubricants, otherwise it will cause blockage of the DPF, and delay in cleaning will increase fuel consumption. Therefore, China VI vehicles must use CK-grade lubricants. Qualified lubricants can also extend the use time of the exhaust system.
4. Pay attention to the quality of air filter
The quality of the air filter will affect the dust removal of the DPF, so you must choose a high-quality air filter to ensure sufficient air intake and high filtration efficiency. You must pay attention to the maintenance of the air filter and clean it in time.
5. Pay attention to the indicator light alarm
In addition to the indicator lights for water temperature alarm and engine oil alarm, some of the new indicator lights on the instruments equipped on the China VI vehicles need to be paid attention to during normal use.
