Q1: Can this hydraulic oil tank be filled with hydraulic oil beyond the maximum liquid level mark?
A1: No. Excessive oil filling will reduce the internal buffer space. When the oil heats up and expands, the internal pressure of the tank will rise, which may cause oil overflow from the breather valve and filler cap, and even cause the tank to deform. It will also increase the risk of oil entering the breather valve and blocking the ventilation channel.

Q2: What are the common causes of oil leakage on the hydraulic tank?
A2: It may be cracking of welding seams caused by long-term vibration, loose oil drain plug, aging sealing gasket of the oil filling port, impact deformation of the tank body, or damage to the sealing ring of the return filter seat.

Q3: What should be noticed before installation?
A3: Clean the inside of the tank to remove welding slag, rust and sundries; check that all sealing gaskets and threaded plugs are intact; align the mounting bracket and tighten the bolts symmetrically and evenly, to avoid local stress concentration on the tank body.

Q4: Can a slightly leaking weld be repaired by simple welding?
A4: It is not recommended for on-site simple welding repair without complete oil cleaning. Residual hydraulic oil inside the tank is flammable and there is a fire risk. Even after welding, residual stress will exist at the repair point, and leakage may recur under hydraulic shock. It is better to replace the tank assembly directly.

Q5: What are the requirements for the hydraulic oil used in this tank?
A5: It is recommended to use L-HM46 anti-wear hydraulic oil. Dirty, deteriorated or water-mixed oil will accelerate the rust inside the tank, block the filter element, and increase the wear of the whole hydraulic system.

Q6: What will happen if the breather valve is blocked?
A6: The blocked breather valve will fail to balance the air pressure inside and outside the tank. Negative pressure will form inside when the oil level drops, resulting in insufficient oil suction of the pump, cavitation, abnormal noise and accelerated wear of the gear pump.
