maintenance & replacement

Shut down engine and wait for full cooling, allow engine oil flow back to oil pan before replacement.
Clean filter base mating surface when removing old filter, remove old gasket residue and oil sludge.
Install brand‑new gasket, apply thin layer of engine oil on gasket surface, tighten with standard torque, over‑forcing is forbidden.
Fill engine oil after replacement, start engine and check oil leakage at filter joint position.
Do not clean and reuse clogged filter, dented housing or aged damaged gasket, replace oil filter directly.
