According to years of analysis of the use of concrete pumps, there are several reasons for the length of the cutting ring that affects the spectacle plate:
1. The difference of concrete pumped by concrete pump trucks at various construction sites
For example, when commercial concrete is used on the construction site, the displacement of the glasses plate can reach more than 120,000 square meters, and the life of the cutting ring is also between 15,000 and 40,000 square meters.
Second, the difference in pumping conditions of pump trucks at various construction sites
When pumping concrete under large heights and long distances, the life of the spectacle plate and cutting ring will be shorter due to the back pressure of the penetration.
Third, the gap between the glasses plate and the cutting ring will also affect the service life
The cutting ring has a large pre-tightening force, so it can be pressed tightly on the eyeglass plate. When pumping, the mortar will not enter. At this time, the wear of the glasses plate occurs on the entire plane, and the wear is relatively uniform, so its life is longer. The wear of the cutting ring occurs at the edge of the cutting ring. If we can adjust the direction of the cutting ring in time to make the edge wear evenly, the life of the cutting ring will be doubled. When there is a large gap between the glasses plate and the cutting ring or the rubber spring is aging, the mortar and small aggregates will easily enter between the glasses plate and the cutting ring under the action of back pressure. Since the cutting ring is cut twice in each working cycle, the nose beam of the glasses is the easiest place to enter the small aggregates, which will easily cause the nose beam of the glasses to wear and be scrapped.
After a long time operation of the concrete pump truck, it is necessary to check the body of the car, adjust the direction of the cutting ring appropriately, and tighten the special-shaped nut, which will greatly extend the service life of the glasses plate and the cutting ring.
