maintenance & replacement

Cylinder head needs to be disassembled during service. Sort components properly to avoid loss of small parts such as valves, springs and collets.
Remove carbon deposit on valve seat before installation, inspect valve guide wear and grind sealing cone surface.
Adjust valve clearance strictly according to service manual. Improper clearance will cause abnormal noise and insufficient power.
Confirm all parts are correctly installed before trial run, check for abnormal noise and exhaust malfunction.
Do not reuse valve with burnt head, scratched deformed stem and cracked cone after grinding repair, replace intake valve directly.
