Shut down machine and wait for engine cooling before operation. Prepare oil‑receiving container to avoid oil spilling and contamination.
Clean oil and dirt on mounting base threaded hole when removing old sensor, check base thread for damage.
Keep sealing ring in good condition and in place. Tightening torque shall comply with service manual. Excessive force that damages thread is forbidden.
Insert and lock connector firmly. Start engine after installation, verify normal oil‑pressure reading on instrument and check no oil leakage at thread.
Do not reuse sensor with disordered signal, internal damage and cracked leaking housing after simple treatment, replace oil pressure sensor directly.
