maintenance & replacement

Shut down machine and cool engine completely, release cooling‑system pressure and drain partial coolant before disassembly.
Remove thermostat housing, clean residual old gasket and scale, avoid scratching sealing mating surface.
Install with brand‑new sealing gasket, pay attention to thermostat orientation, tighten bolts evenly in diagonal sequence.
Refill qualified coolant after installation and bleed air. Start engine and monitor water temperature to ensure normal working range.
Do not reuse thermostat with failed wax element and non‑reset stuck valve after disassembly repair, replace thermostat directly.
